Heart Condition - Cardiac Tamponade

This full color medical exhibit shows a progression of heart condition in three enlarged anterior cutaway views of the heart and lungs. Condition progresses from normal anatomy to a heart with dialated aortic root to dissection of the aorta and 200cc of blood within the pericardial sac (cardiac tamponade). A male torso is included to provide an orientation for the heart and lungs. Another inset of aorta and heart in a depicts a dessection of the interior lining (intima) of the aorta and thickened aortic valves.
