Hematoma and Displacement of Left Kidney

ID: exh74908c
This stock medical exhibit features one large anterior cut-away view of the male abdomen revealing the contents of the abdominal cavity. The small intestine is removed so that the kidneys and posterior abdominal wall are seen behind the cut-away view of the large intestine and the course of the ureters are clearly shown. The left ureter appears transected and there is a hematoma along the undersurface of the liver as well as an enlarged fluid collection extending down into the pelvis around the liver and parabolic gutters, displacing the left kidney.rn
