Incorrect and Correct Pedicle Screw Placement

ID: exh82250
This is a single custom exhibit that illustrates pedicle screw placement in the L5 and S1 vertebrae. The left part of the board illustrates the incorrect position of the pedicle screws in the patient’s L5, and below that, the correct positioning. Next to these illustrations is the original film of the patient’s L5, a central figure with the posterior skeleton denoting where L5 and S1 are located, and the film of S1. The right side of the board is set up the same as the left, patient condition above and correct positioning below, but for the sacral vertebra.
