This full color medical exhibit explains two surgical repairs performed to correct a traumatic injury to the left ureter and adjacent bladder. The first intra-operative view shows the reimplantation of the severed ureter with layering and sutures. The second intra-operative view shows a subsequent surgical intervention in which the bladder neck is suspended to treat urinary incontinence.
