Description: This 3D animation explains how plaque is formed in the arterial wall. With the flow of red and white blood cells along with platelet's and LDL attached to fatty acids through the arteries, moncytes turn into foam cells and seep into the arterial wall. The wall becomes weak and the plaque enters the blood stream along with a blood clot.
