Description: This 3D medical animation on peptic ulcers describes the anatomy and pathology of peptic ulcers. Illustrated within are the different types and common locations of ulcers: esophageal ulcers located in your esophagus, gastric ulcers located in the antrum of your stomach, and duodenal ulcers located in the portion of your stomach connected to your small intestines.

Also shown are the different causes and complications of ulcers, medications, and three different surgical treatments for ulcers: Vagotomy, Antrectomy, and Pyloroplasty.
